Researchers from the University of Missouri claim that they found the connection between women’s diet at first months of pregnancy and future child’s gender.
If woman does not miss a hearty breakfast and prefers fatty foods, according to the opinion of scientists, it is likely she will give birth to a boy. If her food is rich in carbohydrates, and she doesn’t feel much of a hunger, the probability that she will have a baby girl is much higher. PNAS magazine published the results of this study.
During the study, researchers examined the genes of mice placenta, since it serves as a buffer between the fetus and mother. As a result, different changes were detected in placenta of mice, which were on fat or carbohydrate diets.
Scientists can not explain the direct reasons for maternal nutrition’s correlation with the sex of her future baby. However, it is known that the more woman eats, the more likely she will give birth to a boy.

You have me scratching my head on this one!! Does not make sense. Gender of child is determined when the egg meets the sperm…becomes embryo…CANNOT change gender after that! Cannot find source of your information – PNAS magazine?? Gender is based on chromosomes not diet – after conception!
